Marco’s “tree notebook” from Night Circus :D I am illustrating the novel at the moment- maybe I’ll upload the first image tomorrow… This is actually the first page of my sketchbook, which I intend to keep as Marco does his in the book.

First image with Celia! :) Erin, If you are reading this, I would like to thank you for writing The Night Circus. My mother, (who is nearing 50) has read her first fantasy novel - yours. And liked it! Your book has made her finally accept my fascination and art for the genre! THANKYOU!
Also, I can’t seem to get these images to display the same way on all screens if it seems too bright/contrasted, then that’s why… :( If anyone knows how, please let me know!

sorry for the long absence- I spent my summer moving to London!! To make up for it here are the two last illustrations for @erinmorgenstern ‘s amazing The Night Circus. This one is probably familiar to everyone who had read the book: Celia realises she took the wrong umbrella! Also, this is one of the more problematic ones in terms of lighting… If it displays too dark, please adjust the brightness/contrast of the screen! I am very sorry about this!

Kids on bikes! Logan didn’t care for the “you have to pedal with your feet” part, so that last picture is the resulting tantrum that lasted 20minutes and became a nap.
